La Siembra and Cocoa Camino
I just found out that an old acquantance of mine is a part owner/worker at the La Siembra coop when a box of Cocoa Camino chocolate bars showed up at the shop. If you like chocolate, and have not had a Cocoa Camino bar, you need to fix this problem. Their dark chocolote is extremely good - especially the orange dark chocolate. Support fair trade, encourage ethical business practices, get your chocolate fix, all in the same place. What could be better?

Singlespeed Start Times at the O-Cups!
Chico Racing has stepped up and introduced a Singlespeed catagory at the O-cups. It’s in the start times at 9:30am. I haven’t seen any offical word on the OCA site or anything else. Singlespeeders - make sure you get out and represent - make sure Chico Racing doesn’t regret putting the catagory in!

Carbon Frames Ready For Paint
A big day today! The two carbon frames we are getting ready for the bike show next weekend are ready for paint (clearcoat!). The weights of both frames are around 2.4lbs/1100g before paint.

Carbon frame ready for paint.
This frame is constructed with unidirectional tubes (longitudinal and +/-45 degree laminates), a Columbus Super Muscle rear end and a Ti insert for the BB threads…tasty! This is one of the first rideable prototypes that will be seeing many test miles over the upcoming season.
