Excellent day of skiing at Hilton Falls today. The groomed trails are limited, especially for skate skiing, but there is an extensive network of hiking and biking trails that extend into the area north of the conservation area proper. The falls are small but are awesome in the winter as they freeze over into a massive ice sculpture. The trees and small amount of elevation changes make for very sheltered conditions. Some rocks still sticking up through the snow, but enough coverage that you could make it through everywhere without problems. Keep track of where you are going though, none of the trails to the north are marked, or on the official map!
