Custom 29′er Singlespeed
My 29′er Singlespeed
- FRAME: True North Cycles True Temper OX Platinum tubeset, heavily manipulated chain and seat stays to fit a compact road crank, 73 degree head angle for razor sharp handling.
- FORK: Pace RC-31 carbon, rigid fork. As the height of the bolt on v-brake arches is adjustable, you can design a custom 29′er around this shorter, more precise and lighter fork, which is sized as a suspension corrected 26 inch fork.
- WHEELS: Hand built (of course), DT Swiss 240s singlespeed rear hub, DT Swiss 240s non-radial front hub, DT Swiss Revolution Black spokes, red alloy nipples, Salsa Delgato Cross rims. 3x rear, 2x front (2x on the non-radial hub is lighter than radial on the heavier flanged hub.)
- DRIVETRAIN: FSA Gossomer compact road crank w 34T ring, Wipperman 808 chain, aluminum King cog, size dependant on course (normally 18T or 19T)
- BRAKES: Avid SD-Ultimate v-brakes, Nokon cables, Paul Love Levers 2.5
- INTERFACE: Selle Italia SLR Saddle, Speedplay Frog Pedals, Ritchey WCS foam grips
- EXTRAS: Chris King headset, FSA K-Force seatpost and flat bar, Thompson stem, Salsa Ti front skewer, Salsa ultralight tubes, Cane Creek Ergo barends.
